Milan, Italy – Teatro alla Scala has announced its highly anticipated opera season for 2023-2024, and music enthusiasts are in for a treat as world-renowned tenor Yusif Eyvazov will take on the leading role of Calaf in Giacomo Puccini’s masterpiece, “Turandot.”

The iconic opera house, Teatro alla Scala, will showcase “Turandot” on multiple dates, giving fans ample opportunities to witness Yusif Eyvazov as Calaf on June 25, 28, and July 1, 4, and 6.

Maestro Daniel Harding will be conducting the orchestra, promising an unforgettable musical experience.

“Turandot,” set in ancient China, tells the captivating story of a princess, Turandot, portrayed by the sensational Anna Netrebko, who poses three riddles to her suitors. Failure to answer correctly results in dire consequences. The mysterious Prince Calaf, portrayed by Yusif Eyvazov, courageously takes up the challenge, igniting a thrilling tale of love, sacrifice, and redemption.

Yusif Eyvazov’s powerful and emotive voice has captivated audiences across the globe, and his portrayal of Calaf is eagerly awaited by opera enthusiasts and critics alike.
