Yusif jumps in as Otello

The Teatro Regio di Parma has announced a cast change for the upcoming performance of Otello on October 5.

Yusif will replace Fabio Santori,  who is unable to perform due to illness.

Eyvazov has already distinguished himself in the role of  Otello, with notable performances at the Ravenna Festival, Teatro Massimo di Palermo, and the Mariinsky Theatre.

He will join a cast featuring Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar and Mariangela Sicilia. The production by Federico Tiezzi, will be conducted by Maestro Roberto Abbado.
